I qualified in 2006, took time off for maternity leave and began working full time as a mortgage adviser in 2008. I started with HSBC before joining a brokerage in 2010. I have experience in ‘difficult to place mortgages', Lifetime Mortgages for the over 55s, residential mortgages (both repayment and interest only), expat mortgages, buy to let mortgages, bridging loans and secured loans.
I am based in Kent; however, technology means that no postcode is ‘out of bounds’. I am qualified to give Lifetime Mortgage, mortgage and protection advice. I use my own life experiences, both emotionally and financially, to think outside the box, if it's needed. Whether your circumstances fit a ‘High Street’ lender or you need a “quirky” lender, I have access to whole of market products which allows me to place my client's mortgage with a lender that meets your specific needs/circumstances. I work around my client's needs and don't work office hours which allows me to provide an armchair service.
When I am not working, I enjoy being active, upcycling items or sewing. One of my “pet hates” is sitting and doing nothing. I enjoy running, playing football and watching my son play football. I enjoy taking items that are preloved and giving them a new purpose and incorporating them into the interiors of homes. I also love to stage properties that are on the market but not selling and make them more attractive to potential buyers based on the changing interior trends.
